CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — The City of Champaign is partnering with the Champaign County Economic Development Center to launch a second round of the new and growing business programs. 

The programs give financial assistance and technical support to local entrepreneurs to help start and grow small businesses in the city.

The new business program gives up to $10,000 in reimbursement for new businesses or businesses less than two years old. Home-based businesses are eligible to apply.

The growing business program gives up to $20,000 in reimbursement for small business more than two years old looking to expand operations. Home-based businesses are not eligible to apply. 

Applications are due by October 26 and awardees will be announced before the end of 2025.
