DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — With lake levels low in Lake Decatur, the city of Decatur is offering cleanup assistance for anyone with lakeside properties.
The city said it will collect debris and items removed from the lake by anyone who owns property with lake rights.
According to the city, eligible items need to be removed directly from the lake and placed at the curb for pickup.Â
A pickup can be scheduled by calling lake services at 217-424-2837.Â
The service is only available for properties with lake rights. City staff cannot go on private property to retrieve items or give help.
