SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Kidzeum received grant money from the National Science Foundation to help create a new center for STEAM education.
The Kidzeum said adding art to STEM helps boost creativity and makes science more engaging.
Additionally, the Kidzeum has planned workshops beginning in February to get public input on what the STEAM center should look like.
The center is expected to open in about three years.
