CHICAGO (WAND) — Comedian Nick Offerman will headline an event in Chicago Monday to raise money for the Japan House at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
The event will be at the Ramova Theatre in Chicago from 7-8:30 p.m. It will feature "an evening of humor and mirth with just a splash of comedy" featuring Nick Offerman.
Offerman is an alumnus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and studied kabuki and Zen aesthetics under Professor Emeritus Shozo Sato, the founder of the original Japan House.
Tickets start at $80.79, with proceeds going toward the Japan House. The comedy featured in the show will be geared towards adults.
