Versiti hosting blood drive at Grange Grove ahead of Illinois-Rutgers matchup

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Donating blood for the betterment of the community.

Versiti will host a blood drive on the University of Illinois campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at Grange Grove, by Gies Memorial Stadium.

The drive will coincide with the Illinois Fighting Illini's home game against Rutgers at 11 a.m.

The University is currently in a blood drive competition with Abbott and the Big Ten, running through Dec. 5.

Versiti is a nonprofit that focuses on blood health solutions, saving and enhancing lives through diagnosis, discovery and treatment, according to the organization's website.
