KFC offers college tuition money for baby named after Colonel Sanders

(NBC) - Kentucky Fried Chicken wants you to name your baby after its founder, Colonel Harland Sanders. 

The fast food chain promises to give $11,000 dollars to the first baby born on the Colonel's birthday, Sept. 9th, baring the name "Harland". 

The amount of $11,000, is to be used towards the child's college tuition. The amount of money is a nod to the company's 11 herb and spices. 

If baby "Harland" is on it's way, you can submit an application online within 30 days of his birth for a chance to win. The contest ends October 9th.Â
