RANTOUL, Ill. (WAND) - Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County will dedicate its 5th home of the year at the end of the month.
This is the 141st overall home for Habitat of Humanity of Champaign County.
This home blessed Concetta Hudson and her family.
A dedication and house blessing will be held Tuesday, November 25 at 5:30 p.m.
Concetta Hudson, a longtime resident of Champaign-Urbana, has long dreamed of a stable, forever home for her family for a long time, Habitat said.
For the past two years, she has worked for the State of Illinois Department of Human Services as a caregiver. She is a mother of two.
Concetta said, “It is life changing. I will have no more worries about finding a place to live. My kids and I will have a forever home.”
“I would like to give a big thank you to everyone involved in helping my dream come true. I really appreciate you all, and my family and I are forever grateful!”
