TUSCOLA, Ill. (WAND) — A Tuscola man was arrested for possession and dissemination of child pornography on Wednesday.

Jeremy D. Schrock was arrested during a search warrant at a residence in Tuscola.

According to the Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 5, a CyberTip was submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding child pornography. The search warrant was based on information in the tip.

Schrock was taken into custody and transported to the Douglas County Jail. He has been arrested for two counts of possession of child pornography, a class 2 felony, and two counts of dissemination of child pornography, a class X felony.

The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Illinois Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Douglas County State’s Attorney’s Office, and ISP.
