Man killed in rural Warrensburg crash

WARRENSBURG, Ill. (WAND) - A Dixon man was killed in a rural Warrensburg crash Monday night.

The Macon County Coroner reports Michael R. Bzdusek, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene of a semi vs. SUV crash at Illinois Route 121 and Kenney Rd. at 8:06 p.m.

Bzdusek was the driver of the SUV and was driving on the Kenney black top and crashed into a semi that was traveling on Route 121.

ISP responded to the two-vehicle crash at 4:44 p.m.

They said the SUV was traveling northbound on Kenney Road. The semi was traveling westbound on IL-121. The SUV hit the semi, causing the semi to rollover on its side, ISP said.

The driver of the semi was not hurt.

Bzdusek suffered blunt force trauma to his head, torso, and extremities, the coroner reports.

Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.
