EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WAND) – A man who sexually abused a 12-year-old and made her wear diapers was found guilty in court.
A guilty verdict for Darien McKinney, 30, came down this week. The abuse happened between May and August of 2015.
McKinney admitted to making the child wear diapers as part of his “diaper fetish” several days a week during what he called “counseling sessions” and touching her. He would cradle her, give her bottles and change her diaper.
Police say the girl posted about the abuse on social media, triggering an investigation. Officers searched McKinney’s house at one point and found adult diapers, pull-ups, a bag full of used diapers, a sex doll and porn, among other things.
Aaron Wilkey, 27, pleaded guilty in November to sexually abusing a child in the same home and in the same 2015 time frame.
McKinney will be sentenced on an unspecified date in November.
