FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND)- McAlister’s Deli has been issued a permit to begin building a new restaurant in Forsyth.
The fast-casual restaurant would be built at 850 South Route 51 near the Weaver Road intersection, north of Pizza Hut.
“McAlister’s Deli is an absolutely phenomenal addition to the Forsyth community,” said Andrew Zupkoff, the village’s Economic Development Coordinator. “They offer something new for our residents and visitors to enjoy.”
Construction on the $1.4 million, 4,000 square-foot restaurant is expected to finish in December, according to a news release. The restaurant will employ about 70 people with full-time and part-time positions.
