DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — A Decatur Parks dump truck has been missing since Monday.
The district's Park Watch page posted that police are seeking assistance from the public to locate the missing vehicle.
The truck — a 2008 International with a gray cab, stainless bed, and plow mount — was taken from the Nelson Park Maintenance area around 4:15 a.m. on Aug. 5. It has Decatur Park District lettering on the doors and the number 273 on the hood near the doors.
It was last seen on video surveillance traveling north on Nelson Blvd, then west on Rt 36.
Anyone with information, and/or video surveillance relevant to the theft is asked to call the Park District during business hours at 217-422-5911; or the Dispatch Center at 217-424-2711 24/7.
