One person is dead after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle in Decatur.

A fatal accident reconstruction team shutdown parts of MacArthur road for some time Thursday night. The motorcyclist died at the scene. The crash happened at West Karen Drive and MacArthur around 5:00 Thursday. 

The condition of the car's driver is not being released.
