JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — Three people have been arrested after a large fight led to gunshots in Jacksonville.
Jacksonville police said the fight happened at a parking lot on South Sandy Street Saturday night. Officers said there was a large crowd gathered around the and that someone had fired a handgun nearby.
One officer was injured while at the scene.
Monaezia S. McGee, Deirrea A. Burton, and Marcquila Harris were all arrested. McGee and Burton were granted pre-trial release.
