(Gray News) — Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime in various “Transformers” films and shows, has died. He was 85.
Cullen’s agent confirmed his death to The Hollywood Reporter. He died Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles.
His agent told The Hollywood Reporter that Cullen “passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.”
Cullen also voiced Eeyore in dozens of “Winnie the Pooh” projects. He also voiced King Kong in the 1976 remake and created the spooky sounds that the monster makes in 1987’s “Predator.”
