(WAND) - A dreary day for central Illinois before conditions improve this weekend.
Rain, fog, and low clouds are expected on Friday with highs in the upper-40s. The light rain or drizzle may stick around through early tonight.
We'll see a sun and cloud mix Saturday with more clouds Saturday night and Sunday. Fog is possible again Saturday night.

Highs on Saturday will be in the 40s and well into the 50s Sunday.

Monday will be another warm day, too, with highs near 50°.

A weather system will bring rain back to the area Tuesday night and Wednesday. It could begin as a wintry mix Tuesday night and be all rain Wednesday. A few thunderstorms are possible Wednesday, too.

As colder air spills in on Thursday, the rain will change to snow and end.
