EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WAND) -Â Replacement of the Little Wabash River bridge in Coles County will start July 13.Â
The Illinois Department of Transportation announced the closure of County Highway 31 (CR 150E) starting Monday, July 13, between Paradise Road and Etna Road for a bridge replacement project over the Little Wabash River one mile south of Paradise Road near Mattoon Lake.Â
The project will improve the smoothness of the pavement along County Highway 31. The project is expected to be done by late November.Â
Drivers will have to find an alternate route.Â
