Roads closed in Springfield after pedestrian hit by train

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - A pedestrian was struck by a train in Springfield Friday afternoon. 

First responders are on the scene along the 10th Street railroad tracks near the 2000 block of E Converse Street.

Traffic at 19th Street in the North Grand Avenue area and north to E. Cummins Avenue is currently closed.

A WAND reporter on the scene said that the train is moving again.
