ROCHESTER, Ill. (WAND) — On Thursday, the Rochester CUSD #3A Board of Education hired a law firm to handle the investigation into their Superintendent, Dan W. Cox.
The board hired Miller, Tracy, Braun, Funk & Miller, Ltd. to investigate Cox, who was placed on administrative leave on Jan. 6.
The board stated that the legal firm they hired has expertise in education law and independent investigations. The firm will carry out an impartial and thorough review in accordance with the law and the district's policies.
As for comment on the investigation, the board said it is not their practice to discuss pending investigations and personnel matters.
