SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The public is invited to enjoy the sights and sounds of the 25th Anniversary of the "Rock The Dock" fireworks show at the Lake Springfield Marina Friday evening.
Officials say this year's celebration starts at 6 p.m., and will feature live music, food, drinks, and more. The fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m.
Rock The Dock promoter Bob Gordon says, "The fireworks are launched from barges over Lake Springfield which provides spectacular reflections and allows a variety of new pyrotechnic products to be displayed in an extremely safe environment."
This event is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased on site for $10 each.
