Decatur Memorial Hospital

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - U.S. News & World Report recognized Decatur Memorial Hospital, ranking it among the best nationwide. 

DMH got recognition for cancer treatment, specifically leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. It was also recognized for knee replacement procedures. 

DMH President and CEO Tanya Andricks said, "We're very proud of the care we offer our community. This recognition by U.S. News & World Report reinforces the work we do and highlights how our efforts to provide the safest, highest-quality care are paying off with improved outcomes for patients and their families." 

Springfield Memorial Hospital was also recognized by U.S. News & World Report. SMH was ranked 21st among the 213 hospitals in Illinois. 

Memorial Health Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Drew Early said, "This recognition is the result of hard work by teams across our organization to improve patient outcomes and ensure positive experiences for the people we serve.
