ARCOLA, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois State Police are investigating a shooting in Arcola.
ISP Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 5 was requested by the Arcola Police Department to help with a shooting investigation.
On January 17, around midnight, Arcola police responded to the report of a shooting in the 200 block of South Pine Street. One man was found with injuries sustained from a gunshot and was taken to an area hospital.
ISP said there is no threat to the public.
The investigation is ongoing.
