DECATUR, Ill. (WAND)- St. Mary's Hospital was struck by gunfire Sunday night, according to Police.Â
On October 6, at approximately 4:38 p.m., the Decatur Police Department responded to the 1300 block of E. Riverside Avenue for a call of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers did not locate anyone injured from the shooting.
However, it was determined St. Mary’s Hospital was struck by gunfire along with three vehicles.
Officers conducted a neighborhood canvas, and located 32 shell casings in the 1400 block of E. Riverside Avenue.
The Criminal Investigations Division is actively investigating this shooting.
