EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) — One person is in custody after Illinois State Police said a suspect fired a gun into oncoming eastbound traffic around 3:10 p.m. on November 10 in Effingham County.
It happened on Interstate 70 westbound near milepost 102, about 3 miles east of Interstate 57, they found a person firing a gun into oncoming traffic. They took the suspect into custody.
ISP said, no one has reported damage to any vehicles, and no one was hurt.
This case remains under investigation.Â
