DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — James E. Taylor was last seen alive on May 10, 2023.
His body was found in a rural area near his home on May 19. An autopsy showed that his cause of death was due to gunshot trauma. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
The Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Zone 5 is seeking any information from the public that could help with the investigation.

Taylor was found at the 5700 Block of North Country Club Road.
