SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - A terminal at Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport was evacuated Wednesday morning due to a suspicious item. 

The all clear was later given.

The evacuation came after a "suspicious item" was found during the passenger screening process.

The technical response team was dispatched to the terminal to investigate. No threat was identified, and terminal was reopened.

Normal operations are now underway. The airport said at 10:18 a.m. that outbound flights may be delayed by about an hour.
