CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — The Champaign Fire Department put out a fire at an unoccupied multi-family apartment building on Saturday.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Kenwood Road. Firefighters responded after someone passing by called 9-1-1.
The building is condemned, so nobody was inside.Â
CFD says the fire was put out quickly and no firefighters were injured.Â
Fire investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
