DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — On November 30, people got into the holiday spirit with the annual tree lighting ceremony at the Old State Capitol in Springfield.

With Thanksgiving out of the way, it was time for the annual celebration, which attracted hundreds.

There was music, crafts, and of course hot chocolate to get everyone in the spirit of Christmas. People also checked out the "Holly" Sangamon Mass Transit District's Holiday bus.
