Two men have been arrested in connection to the shooting death of Danville man earlier this week.
Thirty-three-year-old Michael Sullivan was arrested by U.S. Marshals working with the Danville Police at a motel in Chicago around noon on Tuesday. His arrest warrant had been issued on Monday, the same day as the shooting that led to the death of Bennie Moten.
Also on Tuesday, Danville detectives and Country Club Hills police took 28-year-old Antonio L. Morris into custody late in the day. Country Club Hills is a suburb of Chicago.
Larry Thomason, Director of Public Safety, said that both men are still in custody in Chicago with no bond. When they will return to Danville is unknown. Three or more people are still sought in connection with the shooting. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at 431-TIPS, or the Danville Police Dept. at 431-2245.
