SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Mail was scattered across one street in Springfield Friday.

The USPS told WAND News that the mail was classified as Undeliverable Bulk Business Mail, indicating that it is recycled material.

USPS said the mail blew out of a commercial recycling truck when it left the mail processing facility.

The mail was on the road in Springfield between Eastdale and Dirksen Parkway.

USPS added that the Postal Inspection Service and the Springfield Police Department were notified, and USPS employees were working on recovering the mail.
