Reporter Doug Wolfe grew up in Westfield, New Jersey and graduated from Westfield High School. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.

Doug first joined WAND News in 1979.  He is currently a WAND Investigates reporter covering investigative stories for the station.

Doug is a Mid-America Emmy Award winning reporter with seven Emmy nominations. He has won 13 Chicago Headline Club Lisagor Awards for his reporting and numerous awards from the Associated Press. In addition, he has won an Illinois Broadcasters Silver Dome award for investigative reporting.

Doug is married to former WAND TV anchor, current Decatur Mayor, Julie Moore. They have three adult children, one granddaughter and a dog named Pippa.

For a decade Doug also hosted the radio show Busboom & Wolfe on News Radio 101 FM in Decatur.

Doug is a Chicago White Sox fan and enjoys boating on Lake Decatur
