CHICAGO, Ill. (WAND) — Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for week 9 of the 2025 season.
Loveland had 118 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns, including the game-winning touchdown, in Chicago's 47-42 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
He is the first Bears rookie tight end to secure multiple receiving touchdowns and at least 100 yards receiving in a single game since Mike Ditka in 1961. He is also the first Bears rookie to be named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week since Jordan Howard in 2016.
The Bears are the only team so far to have multiple NFC Offensive Player of the Week selections this season, with Caleb Williams winning it in week 3.
