A pair of Decatur's heaviest hitters brought hardware home to the Soy City recently. Elite bodybuilder Autumn Swansen picked up her fourth top 10 finish at the Olympia event in Las Vegas. She finished ninth place in the physique category.
Powerlifter Jason Carson took home two gold medals (open, master's divisions) in the bench press at the League of Champions exposition in Tinley Park, Ill. With the wins he earned an invitation to the world competition in Las Vegas and will have a shot at making the national team.
