NORMAL, Ill. (WAND) — The Glenwood girls basketball team is heading to the 3A state championship game for the second time in three years.

The Titans had a dominant win over Trinity High School in the 3A state semifinals Friday. 

Glenwood took a 17 point lead into halftime, and held a 22 point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter.

A late push by Trinity cut the lead to 11 late in the 4th quarter, but it wasn't enough, with Glenwood winning 46-35.

Junior Alexis Neumann led the Titans with 20 points and 11 rebounds, followed by a 16 point performance from freshman Jemma Lamb.

Glenwood will take on the winner of Washington Community High School vs. St. Viator High School. 

The championship game will tip off at 4 p.m. Saturday at CEFCU Arena.
