The Puerto Rican appeared in 18 games this past season, but typically in circumstances when the matchup's outcome had already been decided. Lee averaged 1.8 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game. He missed 5 games during the season due to an ankle injury.
The decision follows the announced return of 5 of Illinois' 7 most-used players from the 2025-26 campaign.
