(WAND) — For the first time in five years, Illinois men's basketball has been left off the AP's preseason poll.
The Fighting Illini did receive 92 votes, which put them just outside the top 25 teams.
Big 10 teams Purdue, Indiana, UCLA, and Rutgers made the top 25.
