DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) --Â It finally is feeling like summer which means people are starting to hit the golf course more.
This week 84 golfers between the age of 10-18 are competing in the Optimist International Junior Golf qualifying tournament.
Seven winners one from each age group will advance to compete in the international Championship tournament down in Miami which will include golfers from 26 other countries.
Tournament organizer Bill Wagner said he always enjoys seeing all the young talent come out and compete.
