Villa Grove & Heritage to revive co-op for 2026 football season

(WAND) -- Villa Grove and Heritage will renew their co-op for the 2026 football season. 

Villa Grove Athletic Director Noreen Acton confirmed to WAND Sports that the two schools will revive their cooperative for the upcoming season and will compete under the name Villa Grove Heritage or the VGH Blue Devils. 

Villa Grove will be the host school for all home games. 

Villa Grove and Heritage previously had a football co-op from 2013-2019.
