CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -  When Memorial Stadium celebrates its 100th anniversary, it will be celebrated in front of a sold out crowd.

The Illinois-Michigan game on Oct. 19 is sold out.

The game will serve as the Memorial Stadium 100th Anniversary Rededication Game, 100 years and one day after Illinois' historic Memorial Stadium Dedication Game on Oct. 18, 1924.

The Michigan game will be Illinois' second sellout of the season after the Illini beat No. 19 Kansas  on Sept. 7. Illinois has now sold out two games in a single season for the first time since 2009.

Kickoff against the Wolverines is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised nationally on CBS.
