CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - It's all led to this: Illinois makes its long-awaited return to the Final Four in Indianapolis against the UConn Huskies. 

The Fighting Illini won the South region with a 71-59 win over Iowa in the final, advancing to the national semifinals for the first time since 2005. UConn, winners of two of the previous three national championships, stunned Duke 73-72 on a last-second three-pointer to win the East region.

Both teams faced off Nov. 28 in the Big Apple, with the Huskies coming away with a 74-61 win at Madison Square Garden.
