DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- Summer camps are in full swing across Central Illinois and this week Millikin baseball hosting a camp of their own.

Kids from 7 to 14 years old are learning skill development, situational baseball, doing competition drills and will even fight for a wiffleball championship.

The camp is run by the Millikin coaches and even some players.

Head coach Brandon Townsend said he loves bringing kids from across central Illinois to Decatur and is focusing on making sure the kids can have fun playing baseball.

Townsend said he's glad he and his players get the chance to have fun too and not have to focus too much on next season.
