NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - Pleasant Plains Girls Soccer is headed to the 1A State Championship Game on Saturday after a 5-1 win over Johnsburg in the State Semifinal Thursday night.
Bailey Leach scored two goals and assisted on another in the win.
The Cardinals jumped out to a 1-0 lead early, before scoring four goals in the last 10 minutes of the 1st half to lead 5-0 at halftime.
Pleasant Plains will face Father McGivney in the 1A State Championship Game on Saturday at 2:30. The game is in Naperville at North Central College.
