DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) --The Decatur Women’s Hockey Association was started back in 2019 when a group of hockey mom wanted to be on the ice instead of watching their kids play.
Since it began five years ago the team has grown in numbers with now 30-40 skaters all and they are not all from Decatur,some of the women travel from as far as Bloomington and Peoria.
