(WAND) — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for parts of west central Illinois on Thursday.

A watch has been issued for 4 counties, including Morgan, Scott, Cass, and Menard Counties, until 8 p.m.

NWS said tornadoes are possible, and strong, damaging winds are likely, with isolated gusts of up to 75 miles per hour possible.
