Blustery and chilly start to the week

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Sunday! We are returning to seasonable, wintry, and quiet conditions today.

We’ll start the day with stray flurries, but overall, we’re mainly dry and windy. This will leave temperatures in the low 30s feeling more like mid-20s. We’ll also slowly return to sunshine after a mostly cloudy start. Areas farther west may be able to get to clear skies early enough for sunshine; otherwise, we’ll be waiting until the evening.

This evening, clear skies will help temperatures drop into the mid-to-upper 20s. Our forecast this week is relatively settled. A few chances for a rain/snow mix roll in by midweek, but they’ll be light and short-lived. Better snow chances are expected to return by the end of the week.
