DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - After a busy weekend, winter got its one last ‘hurrah’ with a plunge of frigid temps for the start of the week.Â
The cold air and gusty winds continue tonight. Should any more spotty light snow showers pop up, this may limit visibility for those on the road. Otherwise, the wind will take its toll on temperatures, leaving lows in the low teens feeling more like single digits and negatives.Â
One more cold, wintry day is on tap for Tuesday with highs only in the upper 20s. A fast-moving clipper system will clip the region with a light coating of snow once again on Tuesday night; however, temperatures begin to warm up overnight into Wednesday morning. This will keep any accumulation from sticking around too long.Â
Have a great night!
