Fog makes a return to our area Monday morning. Patchy, dense fog is likely to settle in across our communities before daybreak. Set your alarm a few minutes early to give yourself the flexibility to slow down if you wind up driving through the thick fog. That's the best way to make sure everyone reaches their destination safely.Â
Through the day the fog will mix out, but clouds will hang around. By evening those clouds will start dropping isolated rain showers in our area.Â
Overnight that rain will spread across our communities and get a bit heavier, but most of it should be wrapping up by daybreak Tuesday. This will not be a heavy rain event. Most of you will see a third of an inch of rain or less by the time the cold front rolls through early Wednesday.Â
