DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - America's 250th celebration is coming up fast. Matter of fact, a few places will begin fireworks displays as early as this weekend! Â
With that in mind, it's time for your pro tip. By all means, get outdoors and celebrate. However, you want to let someone else host and/or do the outdoor grilling for you. It's simply waaaaay too humid Saturday with a hit/miss thunderstorm. Then, it's waaaay too hot (and humid) Sunday onward. And, when I say onward, that includes the 250th celebration of Continental Congress approving the Lee Resolution on July 2, and the 250th celebration of July 4. The heat from the grill will only make it hotter. FeelsLike temperatures will already be peaking over 100 degrees. Â
