(WAND) -- Strong/Severe thunderstorms are still possible, but the chances continue to push further east limiting the window of opportunity for many communities.

As of late Saturday evening, guidance is suggesting storms will be mainly focused from the Bloomington-Decatur-Vandalia line and points eastbound.

This puts I-70 and I-57 at the heart of where thunderstorms are expected to develop.

Even with that, some storms may struggle to initiate until they are in the state of Indiana leaving the small chance that most of Central Illinois misses out.

The timing window has also narrowed as storms look to develop along that Bloomington-Decatur-Vandalia line around 1 pm and should be into Indiana by 5 pm at the latest.

All severe weather modes are still in play, but the biggest threats look to be damaging winds and large hail. An isolated tornado threat cannot be ruled out.

Even if there is not a severe thunderstorm in your area, storms will still pack a punch and produce gusty winds and even small sized hail.
