DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Monday! Rain finally returns to the forecast tonight after another stretch of mainly dry conditions.Â
We’ll start the workweek with mostly clear skies early, but clouds build in throughout the afternoon. Highs today top off in the mid 50s. Showers arrive this evening with a few rumbles of thunder possible as they become widespread overnight.Â
We’ll likely wake up with rain tomorrow, and showers will be on and off throughout the day before tapering off tomorrow night. Rain totals will likely remain below a half inch for most, and the highest totals will be for areas south of I-72.
